You’re probably wondering who the girl in the blue hat is … it’s me, Kennedy Smith.

Before you start to think that I am some outdoor expert or park ranger, while I have had my experiences in the outdoors, I am merely a senior studying communication and design at Purdue University.

While being a student with a schedule filled with study sessions, classes, and work, my greatest passion lies in the outdoors.

Being from Southern California, I have always been fortunate enough to spend the whole day outside playing and exploring. Whether it’s exploring a park around the corner or taking myself deep into the backcountry, I am always ready to breathe in some fresh air.

Some of my favorite activities include: backpacking, climbing, biking, hiking, skiing … and anything with a doggo by my side. I created this blog to not only share my experiences, tips and tricks, and thoughts, but to allow you to dive deeper or find your passion for the great outdoors as well!
